Description
Since 2005, the Colegio Oficial de Enfermeras y Enfermeros de Barcelona (COIB) has been working in the design and development of the Infermera virtual portal, a user knowledge and interrelation space and a work instrument for nursing and health professionals in general, whose objective is to promote health through education.
The almost 3,000 pages of content available on the site have undergone a structural, pedagogical and scientific review process and are updated annually.
Those contents are distributed in three large blocks: Daily life activities (in Spanish, AVD), Life situations and Health problems. There, information and advice is offered to favour people's well-being and improve their quality of life.
Infermera virtual adapts to today's world providing citizens with a free mobile application for everybody to access validated and reliable content any time and anywhere. Such content is also available in video format, in computer graphics and in health tutorials which facilitate both information access and comprehension.
